There are numerous forums on Reddit dedicated to various aspects of cryptocurrency. Some are focused on trading, while others analyze ICOs, while yet others are completely focused on a single coin. That’s the beauty of the platform: you can learn a lot by spending a little time each day on the subreddits that interest you the most.

Here are some of the greatest crypto subreddits on the platform for learning about cryptocurrency.

Bitcoin (Member Count: 1.6M)

The most popular crypto subreddit. From beginning guidance to bitcoin memes, there’s something for everyone here. There’s also news, analysis, and discussions on anything linked to the original cryptocurrency, and it’s well worth a look.

CryptoCurrency (Member Count: 1.1M)

This is the only other crypto sub with more than 1 million members, and it’s very active, with debates on breaking news, markets, and analysis. Outside of bitcoin, members are free to discuss other tokens or blockchain-related projects.

BTC (Member Count: 320K)

BTC is the less well-known younger brother of /r/bitcoin. The themes are almost identical, with a concentration on bitcoin, bitcoin cash, and other Bitcoin derivatives. The conversations are more technical in nature.

CryptoMarkets (Member Count: 231K)

This is the place to go if you want to trade and make money. You’ll learn about exchanges and various applications that will aid in your market analysis and finally help you make your first dollars.

Bitcoinbeginners (Member Count: 113K)

It’s all in the name when it comes to Bitcoin for novices. It’s a sub dedicated to newcomers to bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general. You can ask questions about how the technology works, its future applications, and the best ways to trade here.

CryptoCurrencies (Member Count: 96K)

Since they pride themselves on uncensored news, education, and, of course, memes, they’ve been dubbed the “Fiji Water” of Reddit. They place a strong value on verifying their users and content, so only high-quality news and information will be shared.

Altcoin (Member Count: 83.3K)

Any cryptocurrency that isn’t branded bitcoin is fair game, with Ethereum, Ripple, and Stellar among the most popular altcoins. Every year, new tokens are launched, and many of them find traction in the market, therefore altcoin should never be short of material.

Icocrypto (Member Count: 72.3K)

This is a very active group that is interested in ICOs, token sales, and crowd sales for blockchain and data chain technology. On the sub, there are a lot of active investors, and the community is constantly policed to keep spammers and scammers out.

CryptoCurrencyTrading (Member Count: 62.7K)

Another trading-focused sub, however, is smaller and has a more intimate membership. It’s the ideal place to learn about trading tactics, digital exchanges, and crypto-wallets because all coins are fair game.

Crypto_General (Member Count: 18.7k)

This is a generic crypto discussion group where you may chat about whatever you want. Because the group is much smaller, the quality of the debates is a little greater.

Ico (Member Count: 21.4K)

Are you looking to make money or learn more about a forthcoming initial coin offering (ICO)? This section is dedicated to analyzing initial coin offers. You’ll find information on price, the company’s history, and, of course, whether to purchase or hold the stock.

Ethereum (Member Count: 483K)

Ethereum is a platform for developing applications, and it is by far the most popular altcoin on the site. Everything from breaking news to token updates may be found here.

Ripple (Member Count: 218K)

Ripple was one of the first cryptocurrencies to gain popularity outside of bitcoin. Banks, payment providers, and exchanges can all benefit from the technology because it connects them and allows them to save money.
